SUMMARY:Ribbon Cutting - FPC Branson Celebrates a Digital Monument Sign on Main St
DESCRIPTION:First Presbyterian Church Branson Announces Ribbon Cutting for New Monument Sign\nA Visible Welcome Rooted in Faith and CommunityFirst Presbyterian Church Branson will celebrate the completion of its new digital monument sign with a community ribbon cutting ceremony on Monday\, June 1 at 4:00 p.m. at the church campus located at 420 W. Main Street in historic downtown Branson. For church members\, the project represents far more than a new sign. It reflects a long-held vision to create a more visible and welcoming presence for the church along Main Street a visible invitation to worship\, prayer\, service\, and hope in the heart of the community.Years ago\, the church removed the aging stone wall that had lined the property for more than a century. While beloved for its history\, the crumbling wall created safety concerns and visually separated the church from the surrounding neighborhood. In its place\, the church reimagined the property with an open\, gently sloping lawn that now provides a warm and welcoming view of the historic campus as visitors approach downtown Branson."Our prayer has always been that people would not simply drive past the church\, but feel invited in\," said church leaders. "This project is ultimately about hospitality and visibility helping people know there is a place here where they are loved\, welcomed\, and can encounter Jesus Christ."Founded before the incorporation of the City of Branson itself\, First Presbyterian Church has been part of the spiritual fabric of the community for generations. The church's historic Stone Church\, built in 1910\, remains one of Branson's most recognizable landmarks and a reminder of the congregation's enduring commitment to faith\, family\, and service. The new monument sign allows the church to communicate worship times\, community events\, mission opportunities\, and messages of encouragement to residents and visitors traveling through downtown each day.The public is invited to attend the ribbon cutting celebration in partnership with local community leaders and area chambers of commerce.Sunday worship is held each week at 10:30 a.m.For more information\, visit First Presbyterian Church Branson or call the church office at (417) 334-3468.
